We are currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a long term care facility. Hours: Overnight / 8hrs / 10:00pm-6:30am
Duties include (but are not limited to)
Formulate and/or follow a goal directed plan of care which is prioritized and based on established
nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
Document effectiveness of nursing care and help to modify plan of care to progress the patient towards
expected outcomes.
Provide and/or assist others in delivery of nursing care in a cost effective and timely manner.
Assume responsibility for the management of the care of your patient.
Help select and modify teaching protocols/instructions for patient.
Participate actively in unit educational activities.
Demonstrate applied knowledge base to unit patient population and accountability for own
professional practice.
Practice according to safety, infection control, legal and risk management, dress code, attendance and
other work environment related policies.
Maintain scheduling flexibility to meet unit patient care needs.
Participate in the organization and prioritization of patient and unit activities.
Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills with patients, guests and co-workers.
Qualifications:
Registered nurse (RN) state license for the state in which you are practicing.
One current year of clinical experience within the last three years.
Must be able to push and/or pull at least 100 pounds of weight with the assist of specialized lifts and
other devices.
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and sit and/or stand for periods of 8 hours or more.
Must be able to accurately read, interpret patient care plans/orders and chart appropriate actions and responses as required.
Must maintain all credentials in a current and acceptable status.
