Nursing Supervisor RN contract assignment for Immediate start!
Location: Chippewa Falls, WI
Hours: combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week.
Hours: 6am to 6pm (M-F)
Weekend requirement: every fourth weekend 6:00 am-6:00 pm.
Salary Information
Pay is for this position between $75.00 and $90.00 per hour (approximately $3000 to $3600 per week or between $156,000 and $187,200 per year) depending on experience.
Paid on-call is required for the times when Nursing Supervisors are not on duty and Nursing Supervisors serve as the Administrative Officer when needed.
This position will be required to cover other nursing shifts to meet operational needs as needed.
Position Summary
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervising quality of care and administrative practice; and performing all necessary nursing duties within the scope of the RN license. Additional duties include:
Distributing medications, administering treatments and directing team response to employee or individual health crisis situations.
Supervising certified nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses.
Serve as the designee of the Facility Director (Administrative Officer) as needed. This includes responsibility for overall operations, including the physical plant, and is in charge during emergencies, such as fire and severe weather when the director is not present.
Experience required:
BLS
RN Licensure or eligibility* for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin *Compact State License and are eligible to obtain and/or work in the State of Wisconsin.
Ability to cover all nursing shifts as needed and take calls (i.e. nights, weekends, and holidays as the Administrative Officer.)
Experience working as a Registered Nurse providing direct care nursing services.
Experience providing mentoring, coaching, guidance, or training to other staff.
Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Experience in a formal supervisory or management role (e.g. hiring, resolving conflict, conducting performance evaluations, delegating work responsibilities, monitoring workload, etc.).
Ability to complete Mental Health Assessments
